Vintage August Buermann Gal Leg Lady Leg Bit with Antique Leather Colt Headstall

This split-eared headstall and gal leg bit have been together in my family for well over 150 years the headstall was made by my fathers grandfather.  My Great-Grandfather used to sell livestock to the military, mules and horses.  Its hung in my ranch house with other collections for a number of years I've always admired the construction and primitive look of the headstall and Buermann Lady Leg  bit.  You can clearly see the fine detail in the bit, this one is the real deal for sure, not a copy.  Thanks for looking at this piece of history...
Measurements:
Bit - is a standard 5" horse bit
Headstall - 6" shank from where the headstall attaches to where the reins would attach.  Width of leather is 2" wide.
