I bought this bass trombone new because it was a King 7B knock off. I use to play a King 7B professionally in the past. Then I basically tore apart the bass trombone and had it customized by a local trombone/instrument tech that use to build bones for Greenhoe(spelling). He added only the best materials and perfected this bass trombone. From the inter-changeable tu
ning, lead-pipes, and custom grip and valve linkage. It plays like a dream. Encluded with the bass trombone is a Hamilton bass trombone stand. I added padding where the stand makes contact with the trombone. This bass trombone works extremely well for orcestra, wind ensemble, small ensembles and jazz. I have used it in all of these venues.
I would keep it till death did us part but I contracted "Bell's palsy" (definition:
suddenly occurring paralysis that distorts one side of the face, caused by a lesion of the facial nerve.
