This auction is for a used older or vintage western cowboy horse bit
Mountings down outer side of shank and across front of slobber bar
Straight bar style mouth piece with high cathedral style port having a crickett or copper roller within the port
CROCKETT stamped on inner portion of one shank
Other shank marked - STAINLESS
ST marked on top inner portion of each bridle or headstall ring
ST marks on mouth bar
Overall signs of wear - scuffs, rubs and scratches
Pitting to some areas inside shanks
S shape rein rings are not stainless
Adult size bit with mouth opening measuring roughly 5 1/8 inches
Top of headstall ring STRAIGHT down to ring for S rein rings (not including S rings) is approximately 7¼ inches
This bit weighs 1 pound 3.3 ounces - prior to packaging
