Factory tilt steering column for
1977, 1978 Eldorado
.
Also will fit
1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976 Cadillac Eldorado, Deville, Seville, Fleetwood
. Same mount, same harness.
Only difference is the neutral safety on the earlier years have 4 contacts and the columns use a screw in turn signal lever. This column uses a bolt in lever. Outside of that, same column.
Column has been disassembled, cleaned, bearings greased, any worn parts replaced, and re-assembled. The 4 bolts that hold the tilt tight were coated with red thread locker (see last pic). Tilt is tight and will stay that way.
Column has been sanded, etch primed, sanded through 400 grit, primed, sanded, and painted black satin lacquer.
Column has a new cylinder lock w/ 2 keys.
Turn signal is fully functional. Everything works as it should
