1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 4 Door

Description

1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Condition is "Used". VIN# C57k152839. All stock. Starts and runs well. Street legal with all turn signals working with good breaking. Engine replaced with same new stock 283cc in mid 70's, 4-barrel carb. 3 on the tree manual transmission w/ overdrive that works well. Overdrive lever is stuck and engaged; may just need adjusting. Gas tank replaced and carburetor rebuilt in 2013. Minimal fluid leaks but barely noticeable. Newer battery. Good radiator, starter, alternator, etc. Newer primary tires, working spare and jack included.  Ball joint likely need replacing. Could use tune-up & oil change for better performance. General maintenance and repairs performed over the years up until 2013 with most historical receipts provided.
Interior seat upholstery, door panels, headliner & carpet replaced w/ new in mid 80's (Receipts included). Solid working door hinges and alignment. General wear on dash. Steering wheel chrome broken. Shifter and turn signal sleeve on steering column is loose; requires tightening. Clock not working. *Odometer stopped working many years ago while turning over at 16,999K on old engine.  All gauges and indicators work. Cab fan not working but all environmental panel levers work. Rear passenger door lock stuck in locked position. Front driver window works but very sticky and needs lubrication and handle attached, provided.
Exterior paint is original w/ minor dents, scratches & minimal rust where pictures show. Rear corner bumper is bent, as shown. No major accidents, repairs or damage to chassis or frame.
This one family owned car grew up in New Mexico, California and Oregon. It is driven 3-4 times per a year over the last 40 years, has always been garaged and has not experienced any rain or extreme weather exposure in that time. Sold "As Is".
* Old engine had about 225K before replaced and approx. 50K on new engine for total overall approx. 275K miles.
